The Narrows Opens its stage every Wednesday evening for performers of all genres. Doors open at 6:00 p.m.; the sign-up is available at 6:30 p.m. Our first performer starts the evening at 7:00 p.m. The Narrows Open Mic is a recording Mic. If you are interested in your recorded files they can be made available. If you do not wish to be recorded, please let the sound engineer know in advance. Our standard stage includes: 3 Sure SM 58's, 2 Sure SM 57's, 2 1/4" cables. Other requirements must be requested by phone (508) 324-1926 between 5:00 - 5:30 p.m. Because we are recording, we ask that you or someone of your choice introduce the performer. The cover is $3 and children under 12 are free. Our stage showcases many great performances from experimental originals to classical standards and our sign-up list fills quickly. Plan to arrive early to enjoy the full night. In 2008 we introduced our presence on MySpace.com (www.myspace.com/narrowsopenmic) Our myspace link, instantly popular, brings the most current Open Mic news to your computer including a selection of recordings.
